I am a national of Sierra-Leone, West Africa. I was a professional miner, but when hostilities broke out in the country, I enlisted in the Mr.Foday Sankoh-led Revolutionary United Front(RUF), and rose to the rank of a Captain. However Because of the prevailing circumstances in the country then, I arranged and deposited these money in the custody of a fiduciary Trust company in New York.
Problems started soon after president Teejan Kabbah was restored to power with the aid of the ECOMOG troops. Hardly had he regained power when he embarked on persecution of selected RUF leaders. I was arrested and detained for months without trial.What is more, the government seized my international passport and froze my bank accounts, such that I now have nothing to live on except the money I save with the Company, which I am determined never to let anyone take away from me. My family and I are presently taking refuge in neighbouring Nigeria to save our lives.
My worry is that it is no longer safe to continue to keep the funds with the Company, considering the cruel determination of the government and its allies to unjustly dispossess me of all that I own. It is against this background that I want to promptly move the money out of the Security Company to your custody for high yield offhsore investments. I cannot, however, do this unless somebody sincerely agrees to assist me.

Until the 17th April 2003, Sherbro Island has always been peaceful, an Island of less than 350,000 inhabitants rich in Diamonds and Aquatic life. My father was a fisherman and very popular in the island.
My main purpose of contacting you is to seek your consent and full co-operation to receive and deposit the sum $18.7m United States Dollars in your account or you may open a new bank account to keep the money on behalf of my family and the island in general. You
will be entitled to 20% of the total sum. This means you will remove the sum of $3,740,000 as your share for this service and the balance of $14,960,000 will be held in trust until my arrival to meet you, then I will give you the full details of how I intend to re-invest the money here in my country.
At this point I will like to explain the source of this money. Between February and June last year (2002) the ruling Government of Ahmad Tejan Kabbah invited some French and Russian businessmen to Sierra Leone. The President hosted them secretly here in Sherbro Island and negotiated with these men, a lot of our Diamonds where sold to some of these people in exchange for arms and ammunition, which were delivered
between September � December (2002) while others were paid cash in dollars. These weapons were used by the Government to attack and destroy numerous rebels strong holds in some key towns and cities all over Sierra Leone. Some rebels got hint of the next visit
of some of these businessmen, which was suppose to be in March but postponed to April for security reasons.
Then in April this year 2003 as usual the President sent down the money for payment to these invited businessmen. All the currencies are in US$100 bills and are carefully sealed to protect the money from been detected by security officials especially the customs.
The rebels attacked the Island on 17th April and destroyed lives and properties; they looted and destroyed my family compound where this money was hidden. Out of US$60million only US$18.7million was
recovered. Seeing the damages in the Island and an opportunity to compensate my people I declared to the President that all the money were stolen, then I moved this money to our neighboring country Liberia with the intention to use the money for the benefit of the Island later.
The War in my home country Sierra Leone is still on and the recent problem in Liberia and current Issuance of warrant of arrest by the United Nations on the Liberian President Charles Tailor has made it necessary to move the money out from there to your country with the hope that you will not disappointment me in the end.
Your confirmation to assist me is required to enable me give you all the necessary details of how the money will get to you for safe keeping.

During the war in my country, and following the indiscriminate looting of
Public and Government properties by the rebel forces, the Sierra Leone
mining
coop. Was one of the target looted and it was destroyed. My father including
other top Government functionaries were attaked and killed by the rebels in
November 2000 because of his relationship with the civilian Government of
Ahmed Tejan Kabbah.
As a result of my father's death , and with the news of my uncle's
involvement in the air crash in January it dashed our hope of survival. The
untimely deaths caused my mother's heart failure and other related
complications of which she later died in the hospital after we must have

on her early this year . Now my 18 years old sister and myself are alone in

In the content of the deed he signed with the Security Company, he used the name of his Son Mr. DAVID KASANGA as the next of kin. The real content of the box were not disclosed to the Security Company due to security reasons. Now we as refugees, have very limited financial rights here, we intend to leave this country immediately with the whole money for investment in your country because of the stable political situation and mostly for the future benefits of my children. Dear sir,
